I used cloth diapers with my son and I am going to use them again with this baby. There are a few new brands out this go round. Do you guys prefer Thirsties or bummis super brites? They look about the same. I ordered one newborn thirsties just because it was cheaper and had free shipping.
AND…I plan on using washable wipes this time. I wanted to know about the easiest to make at home- Is there a fabric I don’t have to sew the edges (won’t fray)? Is 8X8 the best size? I think I will prefer to use a spray solution instead of soaking the fabric.
Is there something easier and better than….
12oz water (spray bottle)
1/2 tsp aloe
1 drop tea tree oil
1/2 tsp baby wash
I’ve tried to google as much as I can but would love your advice/ opinions.

I really like your ideas. I haven’t used cloth diapers, so I can’t give you much feedback about which brand is best, but you’re right that most are essentially the same.
For cloth wipes most that I have seen typically are double sided with terry cloth on one side and flannel on the other. The only fabric that I know of that doesn’t fray is fleece. I’m sure they would make very comfortable wipes, but that might be a bit pricey and over kill. Supposedly 100% cotton fabrics don’t fray, but I don’t know that for a fact. You can use pinking shears (zig zag scissors) to minimize fray on some fabrics, but with tons of washing, it may not be much help.
Your spray mixture looks great!
